Five Years of Building
There's no blueprint for something like this.
What began as a spontaneous experiment more than six years ago has somehow endured, evolved, and expanded to become something else entirely.
Five years ago today - 28 August 2025 - we began the very first test game of what we half-jokingly called Campaign for the Entire God Damn World. It was messy, chaotic, and completely unforgettable. Since then, the game has grown across four more tests, national crises, fabricated treaties, backdoor arms deals, and collaborative storylines we never could have predicted when this idea was first conceived in the back of a maths classroom sometime in 2019.
Together, we've built not just a game - but a world.
And now, I'm thrilled to announce we're building it again.
Over the past two years, the team has been hard at work designing what we're calling the full, living rules of the game. These aren't just a set of documents (yes - documentS plural), they're a complete system for how the game operates. From lawmaking to logistics, resource flows to revolutionary coups, everything is being rebuilt with intent, depth, and (a little bit of) balance. It's far from finished, but it's well underway. And we're so excited to share some of with you soon.
Which brings us to today's announcement.
The name is changing.
As of today, Campaign for the Entire God Damn World is officially retired.
Welcome to Global Nexus
The name may be new, but the spirit remains the same: a world where diplomacy, conflict, collapse, and transformation are driven by players - where every action leaves a mark, and every nation tells a story.
Thank you for being part of this absurd, brilliant, always-evolving experiment. Whether you've been here from the start or you've just joined us recently, we're so happy to have you here.
The next phase is coming.
We hope you'll build it with us.
